The Rooted Residence

Set against the lush landscape of Punnakulam near Azhimala, The Rooted Residence is an exploration of tropical modernism that seamlessly anchors crisp, contemporary geometry within the rich vernacular heritage of Kerala. By blending traditional spatial elements such as the reimagined verandah sit-out with clean modern horizontal lines and earthy materiality, the residence establishes a profound connection to its tropical surroundings, resulting in a sanctuary that is deeply grounded in its local context and elegantly refined for modern living.
